I had booked Amber Inn for a group of delegates who were visiting India for a study tour. We spent almost 10 days at the Inn that it felt like home! Sharon and Mary were extremely helpful, always smiling and ready to answer all our queries. They have a beautiful common room, spacious rooms with comfortable mattresses. Breakfast was always yummy with a new fish being served every day.
I've been to the Amber Inn a few months ago and chose to stay here again, due to the proximity to my office. It is a great, cosy and comfortable place to stay in. Though bear in mind that none of the rooms are smoking rooms, so you will have to step out to the balcony if you're a smoker. That aside, a well-located and comfortable place.
I was a little unsure but chose the place for its proximity. If you are in Indira Nagar/Jeevan Bima Nagar, Amber is the default choice. Nothing very special, but just about what you need for a night or two's stay.
Its more like a VIP guest house but rooms are well maintained and clean. Very co-operative and friendly staff. Highly recommended for fly and single females due to the security measures taken. Value for money place. They only serve breakfast but have good options in the vicinity.
Stayed on the first floor spacious suite for 4 nights in Feb 2018 with my family. The staff is friendly, the food is decent, you can order lunch & dinner beforehand from the somewhat limited menu. The place is well maintained. It is situated at a very convenient location with lots of restaurants nearby.Would like to visit again
